What Is a Smart Contract?

Smart contracts are computer programs that are hosted and executed on a blockchain network. Each smart contract consists of code specifying predetermined conditions that, when met, trigger outcomes. By running on a decentralised blockchain instead of a centralised server, smart contracts allow multiple parties to come to a shared result in an accurate, timely, and tamper-proof manner. Learn more

About this Event

We will go through basics of what Smart Contract is, how it is structured create one live, explain different ways using which you can built those and a gently introduction to Chainlink and its Price Feeds API on Arbitrum Goerli. It will be a very good starting point for anyone looking to start their journey in web3 and explain most things a person would need to start writing Smart Contracts and playing with blockchain.
