Overview of Chainlink External Adapters

Chainlink Dallas: Connected Smart Contracts

September 5, 2019, 11:00 PM UTC – September 6, 2019, 1:00 AM UTC

About this event

Join us as we show you how to create an external adapter for the Chainlink network. External adapters extend the functionality of the Chainlink node by allowing for custom computation, accessing authenticated APIs, and more. Programming experience is not necessary to attend this meetup, but having some experience will help you understand the topics to be discussed. If you would like to build along with the group, please bring your laptop.

Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network that enables smart contracts to securely access off-chain data feeds, web APIs, and traditional bank payments. Chainlink is consistently selected as one of the top blockchain technologies by leading independent research firms such as Gartner. It is well known for providing highly secure and reliable oracles to both large enterprises (Google and SWIFT) and leading smart contract development teams (Web3 Foundation, Wanchain, OpenLaw, Zeppelin, Accord and more).
